"Screened" In!

Good morning everyone!  I'm happy to be posting my first card on my blog today.  My inspiration came while in the waiting room of a doctors appointment. Kevin and I were flipping through Better Homes and Gardens magazine.  If you're looking for inspiration, just check out any copy of BH&G!  They stay on top of beautiful color palettes and even intriguing furniture that can inspire a card.  Today, a decorative screen inspired me to "screen in" my Hello sentiment with a piece of yellow velum on the back of a pre-cut frame.  My inspiration for the yellow, white, and gray scheme came when Kevin insisted a room in the BH&G magazine reminded him of Easter.  To prove that such ideals are largely brought about by color schemes in advertising during said holiday, I set out to make a card using that palette in a non-Easter-y way.
